Ripon Concerts to host prize-winning chamber group for Holy Trinity Church event

The Pelléas Ensemble will be performing at Holy Trinity Church in Ripon as part of Ripon Concerts’ 2023-24 season.

The concert on Monday, November 13 will see the ensemble play music by Debussy, Rameau and Prokofiev.

Henry Roberts, Luba Tunnicliffe and Oliver Wass first formed the flute, viola and harp trio in 2011 while studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Since their début at Wigmore Hall, London – praised for its “captivating vitality” – they have played on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune programme and won the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Henderson Chamber Ensemble Award and other honours.

Formerly known as the Cathedral Concert Society, Ripon Concerts has been bringing recitals and chamber music to the city since 1993.

Tickets for the Ripon concert, which starts at 7.30pm, are available online at www.riponconcerts.co.uk and from Little Ripon Bookshop, 13 Westgate, Ripon.

Entrance on the night is cash only.
