A FREE course in Boston Spa will help residents get their finances in order.
Run by Christians Against Poverty (CAP), a national debt counselling charity, the three-week course is open to anyone who lives locally, whether or not they are Christian.

Called CAP Money and set up in partnership with Kings Church in Boston Spa, it will teach money management, budgeting and reducing expenditure.

It begins on Wednesday, February 10 at 7.45pm in Deepdale Community Centre and will be run by trained CAP Money coach Debbie Nicholson.

She said: "We're thrilled to be able to launch CAP Money in Boston Spa. With the recent widespread job losses and drop in interest rates, there has never been a more important time for people to learn the principals of excellent budgeting.

"Through the course we aim to bring hope to those in financial difficulty in the local community. Whilst many in the UK are reeling from the credit crisis, we are convinced that, with the launch of CAP Money, many will be saved from slipping further into debt, whilst picking up excellent financial skills that will stand them in good stead for the rest of their lives."

To find out more or book a place, call Debbie on 07890 543785 or email capatbostonspa@googlemail.com.
