THE wedding took place at St Andrew's Church, Starbeck between Deborah Angela Purcell, daughter of Mr Gerald Purcell (Percy) and Mrs Joan Purcell of Starbeck and Martyn John Kilvington, son of Christine Dobson of Harrogate.
The bride was given away by her dad and arrived at the church in a horse and carriage, she wore a white full length strapless dress with beaded and diamante bodice and full length diamante train. Amy Joan Kilvington, Christine Hesler, Julie Owen and Paul Steadman were bridesmaids who wore fuschia pink strapless full length dresses with Ivory side panel with diamantes.
Best man was Daniel Kilvington who was accompanied by groomsmen Shaun Purcell and Gary King. The bride arrived to ‘Loving You’ by Minnie Riperton, signed the Register to ‘I got you babe’ by UB40 and left the church to From ‘This Moment’ by Celine Dion.
A reception was held at Pavilions of Harrogate, they spent their honeymoon on a cruise.
The bride looks after the elderly out in the community and the bridegroom is a driving instructor.
“Been together 18 years now and did it at long last, two children together, Daniel, aged 15, and Amy Kilvington, aged 10.
“I would just like to say thank you to all friends and family for making our dreams come true and also Pavilions of Harrogate.”
