A CHURCH blessing took place on July 11 in Tockwith church between Taylor Pearse, daughter of Kent Pearse and Linda Wright of America and Benjamin Tobin, son of Russell and Susan Tobin of Tockwith.
The bride was given away by her father and wore a cream wedding dress, carrying a bouquet of cream and pink roses. Friends Kate and Alex and sisters Jamie and Alex were bridesmaids and all wore knee length, dark brown chiffon dresses.

The officiating clergy was the Rev Roy Shaw and the best man was Will Richmond. Sam Tobin, Zac Tobin, Matt Sealby and Tom Banger were groomsmen and the wedding reception was held at the Bridge Inn, Walshford.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Rome and Athens. The bride is an events co-ordinator and the groom a professional soccer coach.
