THE wedding took place at the Dower House Knaresborough between Clare Horsman, daughter of Mr Micheal Horsman and Mrs Christine Horsman, and Darren Wilde, son of the late Roger Wilde, of Chatsworth Grove Harrogate.
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a full length cream Alfred Angelo dress. Bridesmaids were Ruth Wilde daughter of the bridegroom, Niki Robertson god daughter of the bride, Alexandra Medcalf goddaughter of the bride. Mathew Dodds was the page boy and son of bride.
The older girls wore wine-red to the knee dresses with orchid corsarge and Alexandra wore a cream taffata and silk dress.
The bestman was Richard Wilde, the bridegroom’s son. The bride arrived to Handel’s The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba and left to Barry White’s You’re The First My Last My Everything. The reception was held at the Dower House, Knaresborough.
All friends and family contributed to make the day special, friend Rachel Ashcroft did all the flowers.
The honeymoon was spent in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. Clare is a nursing sister at intensive care, St James Leeds, the bridegroom is manager at B & Q Leeds.
