THE marriage between Helen Elizabeth Harrison, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs C Harrison of Ripon and Christopher Laurence I'Anson, son of Mr and Mrs H L I'Anson, of Ripon, took place at Holy Trinity Church Ripon.
The bride was given away by her grandfather Mr B Lowther and wore an ivory off the shoulder, bead encrusted full length dress by Romantica, diamond tiara with full veil and diamond jewellery.

The bridesmaids were Emily and Lucy Harkleroad, friends of the bride, Natasha I'Anson, daughter of the bridegroom, Abigail I'Anson niece of the bridegroom and Louise I'Anson sister of the bridegroom.

The three younger bridesmaids had full length dresses and the two older had three quarter length dresses in gold satin with pashminas made by the bridegroom's mother and gold tiaras.

The best woman was Mandy Henstock, friend of bride.

The bestman was Mr Andrew I'Anson brother of the bridegroom supported by groomsmen Matthew I'Anson son of the bridegroom, James and Harry I'Anson nephews of the bridegroom, and Howard Harrison brother of the bride.

The ring bearer was Henry Harrison nephew of the bride. Rev Wilf Gowing conducted the ceremony and the organist was Mrs Joyce Jennett. The bride entered to trumpet voluntary and the couple left with Toccata by Widor.

A reception was held at The Angel Inn,Topcliffe and the couple honeymooned in Hardelot, France.

The bride is a credit controller for Wolseley UK and the bridegroom a baker for Betty's.
