HARROGATE Town have pulled off a major transfer coup by signing former Sheffield United player and professional boxer Curtis Woodhouse.
They have also signed former captain Simon Sturdy who has returned to the club.
Town boss Simon Weaver said he was delighted to add midfielder Woodhouse to his squad: "Curtis is a fantastic signing for the club," he said.
"It's a big capture and everyone has been working hard to bring him here. It's a big day for Harrogate Town and I'm sure he'll be a success at the club.
Meanwhile defender Sturdy returns to the CNG Stadium after his spell at the club during the 2002/03 season from Pickering Town.
In his first year he won the Player's Player, Manager's Player, and Supporters' Club Player of the Year awards.
He later moved to Droylsden, before playing for Guiseley and Eastwood Town.
