FORMER Follifoot star Darren Pattinson has received some exciting news this week after he was included in England's preliminary 30-man squad for the one-day Champions Trophy in September.
It’s just rewards for Pattinson after a superb start to the County and one-day season with contracted side Nottinghamshire.
The 29-year-old Australian, who holds a British passport after being born in Grimsby, was an shock call and joins the likes of Kevin Pieterson and Andrew Flintoff in the full squad.
Pattinson was an instant success for Aire Wharfe side ‘Foot during the 2005 season with bat and ball.
He is also contracted at state side Victoria Bushrangers where he plays with his brother and rising Aussie star James.
