LOUIS Foxton picked up theharrogateadvertiser.net award for U-9s and U-11s pairs for April-May after a storming month on the pitch.
The nine-year-old Birstwith and Pateley Bridge youngster is now looking forward to the remainder of the season with both his clubs as they look to finish as high up their respective divisions as possible.

In the U-9s pairs, Louis took eight wickets for 27 runs in three games, and also contributed 37 runs while only being dismissed once.

Louis showed the extent of his ability in the U-11s Pairs as captain of Pateley Bridge, by leading the small village team to five straight wins and the top of their division.

He also made 42 runs and against the opposition's best players he has taken 11 wickets with figures of 2-9,3-3,2-9,3-9 and 1-6, giving him an average of 3.2, even splitting a bail in half bowling a Studley player, half of which is now his lucky charm!

Combined his figures are 79 runs and 19 wickets at 3.3 runs each.

The season is flying by and it’s already time to nominate your www.harrogateadvertiser.net Player of the Month for June.
