HARROGATE Grammar School is toasting the success of their sport section after some fantastic recent results in several disciplines.
Three students have been selected to represent Yorkshire Schools and compete in the England Schools Athletics tournament.

Twins Josh and Sam Bentley (both 14 years-old) will compete in the triple jump and Oliver Rosillo, also 14, in the 400 metres.

The school is also celebrating its tennis section after they won both the U-13s and U-15s section of their Area Tournament on June 20.

They won all three games in their pool, then won the final against Stokesley.

The side will now represent North Yorkshire in the Inter County Tournament on September 22 in Leeds.

The U-15s champions were Jordon Probst and Mika Brown, Harry Finney and Louie Swain triumphed in the U-13s group.

Meanwhile in cricket the U-13s boys won the North Yorkshire Final of their area competition and will now represent North Yorks against the Cleveland winners.

In the North Yorks final they beat Ripon Grammar School at Ripon, the home side making 111, Grammar School scoring 150.
