HARROGATE and District Diving Club have medalled at every level in the recent ASA North East Region Diving Skills Grand Prix held over three Legs in Sheffield, Harrogate and Leeds.
The divers who train in the Club squads at the Hydro pool finished the competition with four golds, three silvers and three bronze medals.
In the Boys 8 - 9 Years, Angus Lister put in a great performance, winning gold and a Personal Best score of
213.10.
In the Boys 10 - 11 Years, the Club swept the board with Andrew Dickinson taking gold on 230.75, Frazer Chan silver on 214.70 and Oliver Hebblethwaite bronze and a PB of 213.30. Joe Collinge took fifth place on a PB of 182.50 with Kieran Dowler in sixth on 165.45.
After a gold in the Shipley Novices, it was more good news for Luke Shuttleworth in the Boys 12 – 13 Years event, taking the top spot with a score of 232.00. Jake Robshaw also took fourth on 203.20.
In the Girls 8 - 9 Years, Kiani Campbell-Grady took a silver medal with a score of 209.20, with Eden Brown taking the bronze medal and a PB of 173.65. Emily Pye was fourth with a PB of 170.10.
Jodie Dyer won gold in the Girls 10-11 years with a score of 236.75.
Eleanor Pawlett finished fourth on 218.90 followed by Ellie Boulton in seventh on a PB of 212.05 in her first competition for the club; Elin Gilbert took ninth spot on 198.90 and Georgia Braithwaite finished15th on a PB of 175.60. Moving up an age group in the Girls 12 - 13 Years, Olivia Turner took silver with a score of 237.25 with Jasmine Feingold taking bronze on 233.65.
Katy Morrey finished sixth on 223.05. In the Girls 14+ event, Casey Jones finished 26th on 127.80.
Harrogate finished the Grand Prix in second place.
