York CC send Harrogate packing

HARROGATE'S bowling attack again failed to fire on Saturday, as the St George's Road side crashed to a ten-wicket defeat at York in the Yorkshire Premier League.
Batting first Harrogate were bowled out for 157, the only notable contributions from Nick Lindley (56) and Imran Patel (42).

In reply, York's Dan Wilson (115no) and Duncan Snell (41no) smashed their side past the post with ease, home and dry at 163 for the loss of no wickets.

Over in the Aire Wharfe League, BECKWITHSHAW were comfortable winners over then table-toppers Guiseley, while BILTON lost out at Adel.

Meanwhile champions COLLINGHAM got back on track with a win at North Leeds.

In Division Two, KNARESBOROUGH captured a victory at Calverley, but FOLLIFOOT lost at home to Silsden.

KILLINGHALL continued their fine form with a hefty victory over PANNAL, reaching 194-6 before a five wicket haul for Daniel Salpietro (5-12) had Pannal all out for 76.

Meanwhile HAMPSTHWAITE (179-7)edged a victory over NEWBY HALL (160-9).
