THERE was plenty of grooving in a good cause at Oatlands Working Men's Club on March 1, at the inaugural FNC (Friday Night Club) charity event.
Guests were treated to authentic Asian cuisine, plus a memorable performance by FNC musicians, "The Banned", with star turns by guest singers. The sell out event raised over £2000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The FNC, a group of friends who meet each Friday, decided to raise funds for the charity after learning that the illness had affected the families of two of its members.
