Why the Hell did the staff and students rock Harrogate Ladies' College on an April afternoon?

On April 10, Cross Factor Christian youth group of Harrogate Ladies' College invited a world-renowned rock band Superhero to perform in the spectacular 'Why the Hell' evangelical concert.

The event has been a pioneer since no other school had been able to organise such a whole-school event by taking a break off lessons.

Why the Hell 2008 was funded by three different Christian organisations.

Apart from Superhero's performance, Andy Wilson from Roll the Rock gave a speech on the purpose of life. The audience showed enthusiastic participation, some of the staff even danced to the deafening music!

The event was successful, since it has become one of the topics of the week and has aroused interest in the Christian faith amongst the school.
