The Prats - On Thursday, July 16 at 8pm the Yorkshire Longsword Dance Team based in Pateley Bridge will be visiting the Blue Bell Inn in Arkendale.
They go under the somewhat unusual name of the Prats, which stands for the Pateley Real Ale Tasting Society, and they will be demonstrating their skills in the Blue Bell car park.

They are a mixed group of men and women who do sword dancing as well as a range of other traditional dances and one of their members is one of our village residents. After the dancing outside, there will be a folk music session in the pub itself. Please come along and support them and join in the fun, and please spread the word.

Church News - The service on Sunday, July 5 will be a village service at 9.30pm to which everyone is welcome.
