Tea and cake in the gardens
Visitors will be able to learn the secrets of cooking the Bettys way through demonstratons during the Petal to Pot Summer Garden Party on June 27 and 28, 9.30am-4pm.
Demos will include how to use seasonal produce from the garden to create delicious afternoon cakes and desserts, cake decorating and bread making. V

Hide Adisitors can meet the chocolatier and hear the behind-the-scenes story of Bettys Chocolate Room and there’s a chance to take a peek at previously unseen material from Bettys archive - from original menus and advertising leaflets to silverware, china and chocolate boxes – as well as founder, Frederick Belmont’s personal scrapbook charting the early development of the business.
Lisa Bennison, senior tutor at Bettys Cookery School, said: “Tutors from the Cookery School and craftspeople from the Chocolate Room and Bakery are looking forward very much to sharing our passion for craft skills and our Bettys expertise with visitors to Petal to Pot.“
