Award-winning artist Lucy's latest gallery is at 21 Prospect Place in Harrogate with others in Brompton-on-Swale, Richmond, Yarm and Keswick.

There’s a real-life story in each work of art, which is more often than not inspired by the sights and sounds of her life in the Yorkshire Dales and those closest to her.
Graduating from Northumbria University with a degree in Graphic Design, Lucy forged a career as a designer before moving into teaching and lecturing at Darlington Technical College of Art and Design.
Intrigued by the world outside the North East, Lucy quit her job at the age of 30, to travel to the Far East, where she ended up in South America and began teaching in Peru.
On a fleeting visit back to the UK she met childhood sweetheart Neil, who persuaded her not to return to Peru, and instead stay in Yorkshire.
They married and started a family, which is the subject of much of Lucy’s work today.
Once their twins started school, she felt it was the perfect time to pursue her lifelong dream and give life as a professional artist a try. So, she began working from her small home studio, creating one off commissions and prints for exhibitions. Fast forward to today, and you’ll find Lucy’s work in homes and galleries across the UK and international destinations.
Lucy’s work is loved by locals but has also gained national recognition as she has won a plethora of prestigious awards from the Fine Art Trade Guild, including ‘Best Up and Coming Artist’, ‘Best Art Website of the Year’ and the ‘UK’s Most Popular Published Artist’ for two years running.
She was honoured to be the official artist for the Tour de Yorkshire for three consecutive years and released a series of limited edition prints to mark the event, including a cycling picture for each day of the 2018 race, featuring iconic landmarks along the routes of the race.
Lucy also released a cycling collection to celebrate the 2019 UCI Road World Championships coming to her home town, with 5 pieces perfectly capturing the grit, determination and stamina of competing riders.
