From Mr I C Balgue. Old Scriven, Knaresborough
HUMPS and bumps in Halfpenny Lane. No thank you, restricting the heavy lorries and introducing a 20mph top to bottom with the threat of random speed cameras would be far cheaper.

I am concerned that cars in general, and mine in particular, cannot take any more humps and bumps, renewal of suspensions are very expensive - I am waiting for the day a motorist successfully sues a local council for a broken suspension. I say to the council no! no! no! please do not hump and bump Halfpenny Lane.

Whilst discussing Halfpenny Lane, how about a new road surface?

The road is an utter disgrace and reminiscent of a third world country but then perhaps we are one and I didn’t notice.
