I am writing to apologise for comments in my letter in theHarrogate Advertiserabout Rossett School (October 16). Through omissions and my poor literacy it suggested that I thought Rossett was a second rate school when this is totally wrong.
I view Rossett as a great school and recommend it to anyone and we would be happy to send our children there.
At the open day we clearly saw how much support the headteacher has from the staff, students and the PTA and all the replies to my letter in last week'sAdvertiserbacked this up. My original letter was actually about my anger and frustration that other people and our government should be able to upset my partner through unfair policies and underfunding. A sight that upset me greatly, so much so that I felt I had to say something,
Once again, I am sorry for the misunderstanding and hope the headteacher and everyone connected with Rossett will all accept my apology.
