Anybody who has walked across the Woodfield Iron-Bridge lately will have noticed it has undergone a positive transformation.

As a local resident, I would just like to express my gratitude to those involved in reversing its decline.

So a big thank-you to Tony Hall, the council staff, CAP Chairman Steve Pepper, Dene Park Neighbourhood Watch, the local police, Coun Andrew Jones and everybody else who worked together to eradicate the blight.

A great example of what can be achieved when everybody works together in the community's interest and not their own. Well done.
