From Coun Ian Galloway, Moor Park Close, Beckwithshaw.
MAY I thank all the electors of Bishop Monkton ward who supported me in my re-election to Harrogate Borough council on May 1.

I will continue supporting your parish councils and any Bishop Monkton ward residents who require my advice, assistance or information on council issues please contact me on 01423 522606.

From: Albert Weidemann, Ambrose Road, Ripon.

THE May 1 elections have come and gone. Sadly, I was not elected as a councillor for the Kirkby Malzeard ward.

I would however like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who put their faith in me and signed my nomination papers to stand as a candidate in their area. Thank you also to all the people who took the trouble and time to go to the various polling stations to cast their votes, not only for me but for their respective candidates too.

It has been a great privilege to have met with and listened to people with passion for their respective parties and the villages in which they live.

My congratulations to Margaret Atkinson on being re-elected.
