PHASES One and Two of the restoration of Harrogate Theatre having been magnificently completed, a very successful and thoroughly enjoyable Antiques Discovery Day at the St George Hotel raised £771 to kick start Phase 3 which will see the transformation of the Circle Bar next year.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Tennants Auctioneers and their experts, to the St George Hotel for their support – and delicious cream teas – and to the many people who brought an amazing array of antiques and collectables for valuation.

Two large brass chandeliers, which have hung for many years at Harrogate Theatre and were replaced as part of Phase 2 of the restoration, were valued and will be auctioned at the Theatre Valentine Ball at the Majestic Hotel on 14 February.

For information about the ball please ring 01423 521936.
