POET Pam Ayres comes to Harrogate's Royal Hall this month.
Fans will be able to hear some of her early favourite poems such as I Wish I'd Looked After Me Teeth, The Dolly On The Dustcart and The Battery Hen.

The Royal Hall is one venue in a busy schedule of concerts and book promotions which started last month.

Her 2008 schedule follows two extremely busy years in 2006 and 2007, during which she performed more than 120 concerts.

Highlights included Pam's 13th concert tour of Australia, comprising 16 shows coast-to-coast, as well as her debut sell-out performances at the Assembly Rooms in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The last two years have also seen the publication of Pam's latest book, Surgically Enhanced, and the release of three audio CDs.

Many of her poems are also now in school text books throughout the world.

Tickets for ‘An Evening with Pam Ayres’ on Saturday, October 25, starting at 7.30pm, are available now, priced £18.50 (booking fee applies, except for cash transactions) from Harrogate International box office on 0845 130 8840 or online at www.harrogateboxoffice.co.uk
