THERE are just under two weeks to go until the eagerly-awaited stage version of one of TV's favourite comedy series comes to the stage of Harrogate Theatre.
Showing next month courtesy of Harrogate Dramatic Society, tickets for ’Allo, ’Allo are sure to be snapped up as all the popular, once-familiar characters reappear.
The action, as many will remember, takes place in Resistance France during the dark days of the war. Cafe Rene is the centrepiece for the comic goings-on though nearby in the German HQ, there’s also plenty of action as Herr Otto Flick of the Gestapo, played by Mike Garside, has Helga, played by Gill McVey, on a close rein as he taunts her with his G-string and her black underwear!
