A UNIQUE collection of limited edition graphics by cultural icon Bob Dylan has gone on sale in a Harrogate gallery.
Showing at the The Smart Gallery, interest in the images has already come from across the UK and abroad for the collection entitled The Drawn Blank Series.

The work casts a vibrant new light on the creativity of one of the world’s most famous and influential cultural figures.

Unveiled in the gallery for the first time, although Dylan has been a committed visual artist for more than four decades.

Limited to editions of only 295 worldwide, the graphics are based on drawings and sketches made by Dylan while on the road from 1989 to 1992.

The watercolour and gouache paintings in the collection were created by Dylan during 2007 and visually echo the stylistic hallmarks of Dylan’s prose, poetry and music.

From his performances in Greenwich Village coffee houses, festivals and rallies in the early 1960s, to his stadium concerts of the 1970s and his subsequent worldwide tours, Bob Dylan built his musical reputation on the strength of his live appearances.

l Showing also at Redbrick Mill in Batley, the selling exhibition can be seen at the Smart Gallery at 40 Parliament Street, Harrogate open seven-days-a-week.
