GREWELTHORPE will be the new 'Glastonbury' in August when a music festival is staged in the Ripon village this August
Limetree Farm is the place to be for the Limetree Festival taking place from August 1 to 3 on the site's nature reserve.
A mix of music, performing artists, healing, alternative therapies, art, comedy, late night cinema, side acts, stalls and bars
, organisers of the three day festival say the event is about getting back to what festivals used to be like before they became very commercial.
Split into two arenas, the music field and the healing field, the former will be across three stages with an eclectic mix of performers, from northern soul to indie, to electro house, jass, blues, rock, pop and reggae.
There will also be film screenings, art exhibits, sculptures, stalls, street performers, graffiti walls, face painting and tattoists.
The healing field invites people to rejuvenate mind, body and soul with a wide variety of alternative therapies and other remedies available.
A proportion of the proceeds from the festival will go towards the Limetree Conservation Fund, to help ensure the continued preservation of nature and wildlife on the site.
Weekend tickets are £60 with free camping or a day ticket is £45. Under 16s free if accompanied by an adult. Parking £5.
