TICKETS are selling fast for the folk music concert by Martin Carthy, Norma Waterson and Chris Parkinson taking place at Northallerton Methodist Church on Saturday, October 4, starting at 7.30pm.
Organisers Hank and Annie Rothenberger are delighted to have the three performers.

“Martin is regarded as one of the finest singers and interpreters of the traditional music of the British Isles as well as a highly influential, innovative, intelligent and much imitated guitar player,” said Hank.

“Combined with the powerful voice of Norma and the musical talents of Chris Parkinson who plays a variety of instruments . . .the concert is one not to be missed for all lovers of folk music.”

All proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Support and the Northallerton fundraising committee are grateful for donations received from Barkers Northallerton and Easby Gale and Phillipson, Northallerton.

Tickets are £10 in advance, (£12 on the door) available now from Greensleeves Music Shop or on 01609 772620.
