MORE THAN 1,000 people will take to the streets of Harrogate at midnight tonight in the hope of raising a record amount for Saint Michael's Hospice.
The largest number of walkers in the event's short history should complete the Midnight Walk for the charity, which needs to find more than £2m a year through fundraising.

The 6.5 mile starlight stroll starts and finishes at St Aidan's School, Oatlands Drive. The route is expected to take from two to four hours. Registration is from 10.30pm.

For coverage of the event, including pictures, see next week's Harrogate Advertiser.
