A PRODUCTION of Alice in Wonderland marked the last week of term for school leavers at Western Primary School.
A full cast of over 100 children have been practicing for their four performances, led by Ruby Duff who played Alice.

Musical director Joe Cooper said they had enlisted the help of Harrogate Grammar School in creating the props and backdrops, and with the help of new AV equipment bought this year with support from Western Family & Friends, it was possibly the school's most exciting show yet.

Headteacher Cheryl Smith said: "The children have worked really hard to learn all the words and songs over the last few weeks. It has been a wonderful show.

"It was a credit to them and also to the Y5 and Y6 teachers, who have showed boundless enthusiasm in developing the performing arts curriculum of the school in recent years."
