MORE and more people are signing up to take part in the 2008 engage Mutual Midnight Walk - putting it on course to be the biggest Saint Michael's Hospice fundraiser ever.
Nearly 1,000 willing walkers have already returned their completed registration forms and hundreds more have requested registration packs.
But with just two weeks to go before the official closing date, fundraisers from the Hospice, at Hornbeam Park, Harrogate, are urging people to sign up now.

Tony Collins, Chief Executive of Saint Michael's, said: "The response so far has been amazing.
"Scores and scores of entry forms are coming in each day and places are filling up fast.
"Registration closes at the end of May, so if you would like to take part we would urge you to register today or risk missing out."

Tony added that people who have already applied for a registration pack should make sure they return it as soon as possible, or they may miss out on a place.

This year's event is to be held on Saturday July 5 and looks set to be even bigger than in 2007.

Organisers have an extra 300 places for would-be walkers and hope these extra people will help make it Saint Michael's most successful fundraiser ever.

The walk, which will follow a 6.5mile circular route around Harrogate, is not a race but a fun event that is suitable for all ages and abilities.

The cost of registration is £10 per walker but the Hospice is hoping people will raise much more by getting themselves sponsored.
All money raised from the event will go towards maintaining the vital and unique range of end of life care services provided by Saint Michael's Hospice, Hornbeam Park, Harrogate.

Register today by filling in the form on this page, logging on to www.midnight-walk.org or telephoning Saint Michael's on 01423 879687.
