ST ROBERT'S Church in Pannal will be holding its mid morning Service this Sunday in a rather unusual setting, the garden of the Black Swan Pub in Burn Bridge.
Starting at 10.30am, everyone is welcome to join in the open air worship, which will be followed by a barbecue provided by the Black Swan.

The Vicar of St Robert's, the Rev Nigel Sinclair said: "St Roberts is continuing its tradition of taking the Christian message out into the community.

"The Black Swan was one of the venues for our very successful Village Nativity last year. We hope that people who may be daunted by entering a church will come and join us in the sunshine and see that we are a very friendly bunch who put friends, neighbours and community at the heart of everything we do in our worship of God."

In the event of rain, the service will be held in the marquee in the grounds.
