On June 27 at the home of founding member Rose Eccles, ladies of Ripon Inner Wheel met for the final meeting of the year. President, Ann Townson, opened a short meeting, thanking various members for their help and support during her year and in particular for the wonderful amount of monies raised for the local Carers' Resource. After a short break the annual meeting followed and our new president, Anne Bancroft took over. Her charity for her year is for the local Citizens Advice Bureau and
Other members of the committee will undertake various jobs including the frist event at Ripon Cricket Club, which is the joint annual car boot sale held to raise funds for Inner Wheel and Rotary giving, Anne Bancroft was delighted to present Rose with a lifelong honoured membership. The annual meeting ended and members were treated to a delicious afternoon tea.
