OUR illustrated talk this morning was by one of our own members, Mr Roy Cummings, and his subject Around the World in 50 minutes. Mr Cummings started by telling us that the actual tour took around 100 days. The first pictures we were shown were of Hua Hin in Thailand which is situated on the coast to the south of Bangkok and is where the Thai King has his home. Who could blame him? It certainly appeared to be a beautiful place. The next port of call was Singapore, the highlight of that stop bein
Next week we will be holding our Annual General Meeting which will bring our season to a close. The Forum resumes on Thursday, September 25. We meet at St Paul's Church Hall on Belford Road, opposite the main library at 10am. Any gentlemen wishing to join us will be very welcome.
