TV expert to hold diamond discovery day

ANTIQUES Roadshow expert Susan Rumfitt will be sharing her expertise on diamonds at a special discovery day at her headquarters in Harrogate.
Susan, who has built up her expertise with the auction houses of Christies and Phillips, where she worked with silverware before specialising in jewellery, is holding a Diamond Discovery Day at her Raglan Street offices on May 30.
She will take her guests on a journey from the times of Elizabeth I to Coco Chanel, talking about diamonds and their importance in terms of wealth, politics and fashion.
There will also be a hands-on session aimed at helping people differentiate between the real and fake jewels.
