HARROGATE-based Belzona Polymerics has introduced a scheme to reward high standards in centres supplying its specialist coatings.
Belzona Polymerics Limited has been manufacturing polymer repair composites and industrial protective coatings for 55 years.

It has now introduced scheme to reward specialist service centres that invest heavily in surface preparation equipment an
d are dedicated to maintaining high levels of application procedures and customer service.

To receive recognised status as a Belzona Authorised Coating Centre (BACC) service centres must first win the endorsement of a 'Belzona Champion', who nominates the company for assessment.

They will demonstrate up-to-date equipment and facilities, a dedicated coating room and temperature controlled area and, crucially, ongoing staff training in Belzona approved application techniques.

Steve Cooper, Commercial Manager for Belzona said, "The BACC concept was created to distinguish between regular machinery and equipment contractors and a specialist group of service centres that go the extra distance.

"This gives us the platform to target key industries that require a "total service". These include Petrochemical, Power, Paper and Water."
