RBS strengthens Yorkshire corporate team

THE Royal Bank of Scotland has strengthened its Yorkshire Corporate Banking team with two new appointments.
Mark Burton has been appointed as the Head of the Large Corporate team and David Clarke has been appointed as a Relationship Director within the Large Corporate team.

In his new role, Mark will lead a fourteen strong team across Yorkshire that is
responsible for providing financial solutions to new and existing customers typically turning over in excess of £50m per annum. Mark has extensive knowledge of the corporate banking market having worked within the corporate arena for over ten years with customers across a variety of sectors.

David Clarke joins from the bank's Global Transactional Services team where he was an Associate Director working alongside the Corporate team to provide dedicated support to businesses in Yorkshire that trade or wish to trade overseas.

Commenting on the new appointments, Mark Qualter, Regional Director for Corporate Banking, said: "I am delighted to formally welcome both Mark and David to the team. These appointments reinforce our commitment to the Yorkshire market and strengthen our team and its capabilities. Mark and David both bring with them great market experience through a range of transactions within the Corporate arena and I am delighted to be able to add such quality and experience to what I already consider to be a strong corporate team in Yorkshire."
