HARROGATE-BASED Platinum Print Limited has embarked on a £350,000 investment programme following a decision to significantly develop its business.
The investment in plant and machinery is designed to increase efficiency and includes a new printing press and digital printing room.

Sales and marketing manager Andy Hudson, said: “Businesses in tough economic times can do a number of things and at Platinum we have chosen to selectively invest to ensure that our future is assured. We are also conscious that now is a good time to further highlight differences between Platinum and our competition.

“A business has to evolve to stay competitive.

“Platinum Print has grown up in its current premises and as the business has expanded we have moved into different areas of our building. Whilst this has worked well, the time has come to be more effective in our processes and our workflow, therefore we have invested in a dedicated digital press room.”

Platinum Print won the 2009 Ackrill Media Group Business Awards Green Award.
