TWO businesswomen whose combined experience of running major events in London and other capital cities around the world spans more than 20 years have launched their own events consultancy in Harrogate.
Emma Ramply managed the logistics for 12,000 Cirque du Soleil hospitality guests in Battersea and was consultant hospitality manager for UEFA for their Euro 2004 tournament in Portugal before working with TEAMORIGIN, the British America’s Cup sailing team, headed up by Sir Keith Mills as their event manager.
Shan Wildblood has been selling and managing event contracts and sponsorship in the UK, the US and across the Asia Pacific for nine years after starting her career in London selling and managing sponsorship across Marketing Week’s global corporate eventportfolio.
The women have launched Temple Roberts Ltd, an events business conceived with a mission to bring and develop a wider range of high profile entertainment and good value hospitality opportunities for people and business in and around Yorkshire.
With consideration for companies looking for imaginative ways to entertain their clients on much tighter purse strings this year, Temple Roberts have linked up with Lewis and Cooper of Northallerton to provide gazebo hospitality across their summer series of outdoor concerts.
Temple Roberts will be providing picnic gazebo hospitality at Jools Holland at Ripley Castle in July, and at events at Castle Howard and Harewood in August and September.
“The gazebo garden idea at the concerts is designed to offer our clients a fun sociable way to entertain their clients this summer without splashing out,” said Emma.
“We are hoping that our hospitality guests will make the most of the sociable garden area in front of the gazebos where they can intermingle with other guests before and after the performance.”
Temple Roberts is also working with The White Rose Polo Club, Bramham International Horse Trials, Sprite Productions at Ripley Castle, The Magic Loungeabout Festival and Yorkshire Forward, as well as catering for smaller private functions.
