SOME of the leading entrepreneurs from the Yorkshire region are set to meet in Harrogate in October as part of a "top table" event run by The Met Club.
The invite-only luncheon will see 16 business men and women gather at Hotel du Vin on Friday October 17, where direct marketing expert Judith Donovan will be the guest speaker.

Among those attending will be Philip Lunn (Lunn Ventures); Jason Schofield (Squirrel Storage); David Bentley (Bentley Construction) and Giles Fearnley, the current president of the Confederation of Passenger Transport.

The Met Club managing director Christine Armstrong, said: “This is our fourth bi-annual top table event, which sees major decision makers and entrepreneurs from around the region gather to discuss major business issues and to network.

“This one will be particularly relevant coming as it does in the current global financial crisis. We look forward to hearing what Judith Donovan has to say as marketing budgets are usually reined in during economic downturns, which is contrary to what should be happening if businesses want to stay ahead of their competition.”
