ICON Electronics has been chosen as an outsourcing partner for an innovative new energy-saving product for businesses.
The Knaresborough-based electronic manufacturing specialist will produce components for EMU System’s new energy monitoring device, edd:e.

For many commercial users, edd:e offers the first opportunity to identify circuit-level energy consumption as it is being used on the premises. The device measures instantaneous power at an individual circuit level and delivers real-time data to the ask-eddie.co.uk website which can be accessed by customers 24 hours a day.

Icon Electronics commercial manager Tracy Court said: “edd:e is a truly innovative product and we’re all delighted to be involved during this exciting launch phase. We’re looking forward to working with the EMU team in the coming months and developing edd:e into a market leading product.”
