Groundforce appoints new business development director
SPECIALIST equipment supplier Groundforce, part of the Harrogate-based Vp plc group, is gearing up for expansion into Europe with the appointment of a new business development director.
Nick Davies, 37, has 16 years sales experience in the construction/industrial market and will use this knowledge to develop business strategies to maximise growth opportunities within three key divisions of the Vp plc group.
Previously Commercial Director of a large equipment rental firm, Nick will concentrate on Goundforce's Easiform, Stopper Specialists and Export subsidiaries.
He will implement a five-year business development strategy for Stopper Specialists, work with and expand Easiform's customer base, and lead Groundforce's expansion into Europe, with the opening of its first European depot.
