A HARROGATE literary events agency is hoping to fill a gap in the corporate entertainment market with a new venture in Yorkshire.
Sibh Megson, 43, and her sister Beth Hocking, 41, dreamed up Gliterary Lunches over a family Christmas lunch in 2006.

Having worked in the corporate sector themselves for many years, they were all too aware of the lack of options available for women to entertain their clients and devised an event that combines food, wine, good books and great company.

Their autumn programme features comedienne Jenny Eclair, GMTV presenter Penny Smith and journalist Kate Adie – all of whom have recently published books.

The first Yorkshire event will be at Headingley Cricket Ground on October 23.
