THE next Harrogate Business Luncheon will be held on Friday May 23 at Pavilions of Harrogate and those wishing to attend have until Wednesday to book their places.
Weatherman Bill Giles OBE will be the speaker at the luncheon, which has been organised by Richard Strike from Lloyds TSB, Howard Matthews of The Howard Matthews Partnership and Jenni Moulson from Ackrill Media Group.

Bill Giles retired from the BBC in 2000 having lead the team of Broadcast Meteorologists since 1983.

He started his broadcast career back in 1972 on BBC radio before transferring to television in 1975. Bill is a familiar face around the world and a renowned expert in his field.

He is as well known for his ability to translate the science of meteorology in to plain language as he is for his trademark end of broadcast wink.

The May event is sponsored by Harrogate-based vehicle specialists Lawton Brook Ltd and Oracle Finance Ltd.

Drinks will be available from 11.45 a.m. with the lunch commencing at 12.30 p.m. and finishing at 2.30 p.m. prompt.

Tickets are £21 and available from Richard Strike, telephone 07793 581180, or you can e-mail Richard.Strike@LloydsTSB.co.uk.
