LOCAL Co-operative members will have the chance to discuss business operations with The Co-operative Group's United Regional Board members and management at a regional members' meeting in Harrogate next week.
The Co-operative’s regional secretary Clare Oakley said: “The meeting gives individual Co-operative members the opportunity to hear and comment on business policy, social objectives and performance as well as member activities, locally and nationally.”

“In addition it plays a major role in helping to raise awareness of The Co-operative as a consumer-owned democratic organisation,” she added.

The meeting will provide an opportunity to learn more about changes happening across the society including the Group’s Constitutional Review.

The Co-operative Group’s meeting is open to all members and will be held at the Cedar Court Hotel, Park Parade, off Knaresborough Road, Harrogate, HG1 5AH on Monday at 7.30pm with refreshments available from 6.30pm.
