Teenager injured after scooter crash

A TEENAGER was taken to hospital last night with serious head and spinal injuries after his scooter was involved in collision with another bike on Hookstone Drive in Harrogate.
Fire crews and ambulances were called to the The St Winifred's area shortly after 11pm, arriving to find that two scooters or motorcross bikes had collided.

One 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital suffering from serious head and spinal injuries, while another two 17-year-olds were treated at the scene, suffering from minor cuts and bruises.
